SUMMER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS + REQUIREMENTS

Thank you for your interest in BAC’s Summer Musical Theatre Workshop.

We strive to bring all of our participants an incredible week. Our summer program expends a large amount of funds and resources to cover the professional faculty, staff and the incredible facilities. As parents ourselves, we completely understand the financial burden brought on by extra curricular activities and learning opportunities for our children.

We do not have an official scholarship fund nor do we receive any grant funding for scholarships. Still, we strive to balance the costs involved to run a high level program and give arts education access to those families that are the most in need and depend on public assistance programs.

We encourage you to take advantage of scholarships for the arts awarded by the Empire State Arts Scholarship Program as well other local foundations.

A limited number of Need Based Scholarships are awarded by BAC  to those that demonstrate qualification based on family income. As a guideline for income levels, we refer to the INCOME ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES FOR FREE AND REDUCED PRICE MEALS OR FREE MILK set by the USDA.

Scholarships offer a reduced tuition amount based on the extent of financial need and are awarded to those students who have an interest and dedication to the performing arts.
