Acting Workshop: Scenes, Monologues & Songs
Ages 18+
All Levels Welcome

Whether it's a classic monologue, a scene from your dream role, or a song that speaks to you, this workshop is your space to dive deep and discover what makes great performance work.
Actor and Director John Summerford guides you through a dynamic, hands-on approach to acting that emphasizes authentic storytelling and bold choices. You'll explore:
-
Script analysis – Uncover the layers beneath the words
-
Character development – Build believable, compelling characters from the inside out
-
Audition technique – Walk into the room with confidence and clarity
-
Material selection – Choose pieces that showcase your unique strengths
-
Performance fundamentals – Sharpen your technique with practical, actionable tools
This isn't about perfection—it's about exploration, risk-taking, and growth. Whether you're returning to acting after time away, preparing for auditions, or simply want to stretch your skills in a supportive environment, you'll find a welcoming community of fellow artists committed to the craft.
All scenes, monologues, and songs welcome—from theater, musicals, film, and television.
