BAC’s Summer Musical Theatre Workshop at SUNY New Paltz ~ Parker Theatre! 

 

BAC’s Summer Musical Theatre Workshop in coordination with the School of Fine and Performing Arts @ SUNY New Paltz has welcomed hundreds of participants from all over the Hudson Valley and beyond - including from New York City, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Massachusetts!

 

Our week-long workshop is an immersive experience for young performers where they will get to work all week on specific techniques in singing, dancing and acting. The high school group works at an even higher level and spends time focusing on audition technique as well as college program prep.

 

Classes are led by our Broadway Teaching Artists with a focus on individual expression, group collaboration and the creation of a Broadway musical review that culminates in an end-of-week performance with a Broadway Guest Star! We are so proud and grateful for our impressive network of friends and colleagues from the industry who join us to share their love of the craft and their industry expertise. Participants are grouped into cohorts by rising grade level: Grades 4-6, 7-8, 9-12. 

 

We work at a fun, fast pace. We stress artistry along with professionalism and run our program like a professional actor’s rehearsal process.
