Seeking the following for our production of Alice by Heart.
YOUNG ALICE
(ages 8-10 to play 6 years old) Lively, imaginative British girl in 1930’s London. Speaking lines and sings a short song.
YOUNG ALFRED
(ages 8-10 to play 6 years old) Lively, imaginative British boy in 1930’s London. Speaking lines and sings a short song.
These two characters appear 3 times throughout the play yet serve as an important and impactful piece of the story.

ABOUT THE SHOW
ALICE by HEART
From the Tony® and Grammy® award-winning creators of Spring Awakening, Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, and co-written by Jessie Nelson (Waitress), Alice by Heart is a beautiful musical inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s life is turned upside down as she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. Alice encourages Alfred to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

Rehearsals
We will limit the rehearsal time for these roles to a few hours in November and December on Saturdays.
The Tech rehearsals and Performance dates are mandatory.
NOTE: Young Alice and Young Alfred will be released early during the rehearsals listed below. We will run their scenes early in the rehearsal and then dismiss them.
