PRIVATE VOICE & ACTING LESSONS

"I always knew I would become a teaching artist. My journey to Broadway wasn't an easy one and I am thrilled to be able to share my experiences and knowledge with my students. As a teacher you aren't only teaching a skill, you are touching lives and making connections with your students that will last a lifetime as well as providing your students with inspiration that will take them places in their lives. PRIVATE LESSON STUDIO POLICIES

Payments accepted: Check, credit card or debit card. NO CASH PAYMENTS will be accepted. All payments must be made the day of the lesson. Please make all checks payable to Broadway Arts Collective. If you would like to pay online through an invoice you must request do so and pay prior to the lesson.
LESSON CANCELLATIONS: There is a strict 48 hour cancellation policy or the FULL FEE of the lesson will be charged. NO EXCEPTIONS. A make up lesson may be scheduled but the full fee of the lesson missed will still be charged. An invoice will be sent for the missed lesson and it must be paid upon receipt. No further lessons will be given unless the invoice is paid.
***The student must notify the instructor of any cancellation by PHONE OR TEXT 48 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. Please do NOT email.
It is completely understood that emergencies arise and illnesses occur. The instructor will take this into consideration.
Instructor rescheduled lessons: Due to various performance, workshop or life commitments the instructor reserves the right to cancel and reschedule lessons. Appropriate notice will always be given via email or text and options to reschedule offered.

Lesson Tardiness: If you arrive late to your lesson, it will still end at its regularly scheduled time, with no makeup time permitted. If the instructor is running late, they will always ensure that you receive your full session.
Expectations:
VOICE STUDENTS - You are expected to prepare for your lessons. Practicing is not about quantity - it is about quality. If you’ve been given an assignment it should be finished and ready to go by your next lesson.
Students should always arrive with their music binder, assignment notepad, pencil, water and any device to record their lesson on.
AUDITION COACHING STUDENTS - Please always bring your audition book and any audition sides that you would like to work on.
MUSIC: We don't require that you purchase music books or vocal selection books but from time to time an instructor may require that individual sheet music be purchased. We are happy to buy it for you for an extra $6 fee and will give you that option when a song is suggested for the student.

Hold Harmless Agreement
BAC teachers are unable to provide student supervision outside of the student's assigned lesson time. As our lessons are scheduled back-to-back, we can only be responsible for the student we are currently teaching; we cannot monitor the safety or behavior of students as they wait before and after lessons. It is incumbent upon parents/guardians to drop students off and pick them up in a timely manner and to advise students on safe and wise behaviors while they are waiting before and after lessons. BAC teachers cannot be held responsible for any damage to student's property or for any physical or emotional harm that students may incur while they are waiting to go into their lesson or waiting to be picked up.
Thank you for your cooperation.
